  • CT1- 9th Primary School of Levadia

Coming towards the end our young astronauts this time had to choose 4 activities. They selected four activities to do as quickly as they could, while maintaining proper form. The children after choosing 4 activities, those they liked best (Βase Station Walkback - Planet You Go, Gravity You Find – Jump to the Moon – Crew Strength Training), they managed to do them in very short time. All in all, the preparation to be an astronaut is very tiring ; but the procedure is very pleasant and fun.

  • Circuit Training 2 (CT2) Primary School of Eleochori

Students exercised their muscle groups during Circuit Training 2 (CT2). During Building Astro Core they exercised dorsal and abdominal muscles whereas Do a space walk aimed at the performance of the crawling of the bear and the walking of the crab and thus, they trained their Quadriceps, Glutes, Biceps, and Triceps. In addition, Εxplore and Discover focused on weight lifting exercising shoulders, Biceps, Trapezoidal and forearms while Agility Astro Course the children performed sprint in order to increase their stamina and exercise Oblique abs. We had a great time, thank you very much Mission X for everything you taught us!

  • 4th PRIMARY SCHOOL OF KERATSINI-3rd Grade ,GREECE

In this exercise, the trainee astronauts increase their speed, aerobic ability( essential equipment in space), co-operation and flexibility. They have to stand up, firstly, from a prone position and secondly, from a supine position and then, run among cones up to a defined point and come back. An important characteristic is discipline to the rules so that we have a good result, as if we were in space, where nobody must deviate from his task or else the mission will not be accomplished.

In this exercise, the little astronauts show us how we will increase the strength of our abdominal muscles, which are so vital for a harmoniously tight body.

In photos 1-6 the little astronauts warm up in order to be ready for the greater pressure that follows…
In photos 6-8 they are doing abs in order to increase the strength of their abdominals. The abdominal muscles along with the back muscles, which we exercise in photos 9-16, are very important because they protect the bowels and give energy to the body for a number of movements, such as walking, running and jumping. They also help our body gyrate, lie down, get up quickly and even stay still.
How important are all these for the astronauts? Believe us… VERY MUCH !
