Meeting with the British teachers

It was a pleasure for ESA to meet the British teachers who will participate to the Challenge at Mountfitchet Mathematics and Computing College, Stansted. They are a great team and we are sure their pupils will do their best to win.

Meeting with British Teachers

Our UK Training Day was a great start to Mission X thanks to Catherine Anderson, Charmaine Head of Science and Tom (Head of PE). There was an excellent turnout from local pirmary schools who will be joining in the challenge along with pupils from Grove Primary School. The teachers are looking forward to the international dimension of the challenge and hope to meet with colleagues in other parts of the world - either at meetings or in cyberspace. A couple of key points from our meeting.

1. Having packs of the materials available was really useful (the download all button is really useful)
2. We are aiming to work with students in years 5 and 7.
3. The pyramid is an interesting model ... and highlights international differences in diet too.
4. We are hoping to arrange family information evenings and a community walk to the moon challenge.
