    In the microgravity environment of the International Space Station astronauts can perform spectacular rolls. Here on Earth, because of gravity these rolls are not as easy. We imitated astronauts being upside down and made our own body roll.

    We completed the task of walking a distance up to 10 km (6.2 mi) which astronauts must be able to complete to in order to return to their base station.

    Can we design a robotic arm to perform specific tasks?
    In this section, the students made a robotic arm with hinges that they could use to grab items from a distance. They realised that some slippery surfaces could not be lifted up but that by adding a gripping surface (sponges) to the arm this would enable them to be lifted.

    Friday morning we Joined forces with Astronaut Tim Peake to run a Marathon (26.2 miles). We looked to see if we had improved on our times from the week before and most of us had!
