Dear Mission X National Organiser,
Following our MX meetings over the past year, we want to follow up during the summer on the feedback we received. To ensure we collect all the feedback, please fill out the following form to the best of your ability.

Step Calculator
For each activity submitted, the number of steps earned is automatically calculated through a weighted formula. For your information, the formula is comprised of:
- Difficulty of the activity (65%): Science activities are worth the most, followed by Physical activities, and then National Activities.
- Self-selected activity criteria scores (5% for each criterion): When submitting an activity, the Team Leader must score the Team’s performance of the activity using the provided criteria.
- Number of team members (10%): Teams with more than 11 students are worth the most, followed by teams with 6-10 students, and then teams with 1-5 students.
The raw score produced by this formula is multiplied by our internal “step factor,” which then outputs a final number of steps earned.
For the next season of Mission X, we wish to simplify the step registration. We would, therefore, like to propose the following changes:
- Eliminate the three categories of team sizes (small, medium, large) and replace them with the actual number of students.
- Eliminate the self-selected criteria scores.
