Walk to the Moon Challenge Overview

Teams of students from around the world are helping the Mission X mascots, Luna and Leo, reach the Moon by completing activities and earning steps!

The average distance from Earth to the Moon is 384,400 km. If you walked non-stop, it would take about 9 years to reach the Moon! That’s a long journey, which is why we need to work together to earn enough steps for Luna and Leo to make it, through our collective efforts.

This page provides an overview of the challenge. Here, you can track the total kilometres walked by all teams, see how each country is progressing, and view a global map of where the individual teams are located.
