Enjoy Your Meal and Stay Healthy!
Your mission: Learn about healthy nutrition and prepare a daily menu for astronauts on the ISS!
This resource was created by Space Expo, Netherlands 2025

To stay fit and healthy, astronauts must eat well before, during, and after their mission. A healthy diet keeps their muscles strong. However, astronauts cannot eat everything in space that we eat on Earth. For example, foods that create too many crumbs are impractical, so sticky foods are preferred. Astronauts need sufficient vitamins, minerals, and water. A varied diet is recommended to ensure they get all the necessary nutrients.
